The good news is there are several ways to get cheap Dreamworld tickets.

Rule number 1: Don’t buy tickets at the gate. You will not get cheap Dreamworld tickets doing this!
Ways to get Cheap Dreamworld Tickets
Annual Passes
One of the best and most cost-effective ways to buy cheap Dreamworld tickets is by jumping online and buying a yearly pass. Sometimes, even if you only plan to go once, these passes are cheaper than simply buying a single-day entry pass. You can also save money simply by being a local. By entering your postcode, residents of both QLD (postcodes 4000 – 4999) and Northern NSW (postcodes 2450-2490) can get an even further discount on the already cheap passes. Below are the current discounted local yearly pass options on the Dreamworld website.
Dreamworld Saver Annual Pass (Locals)
In this pass you can get unlimited entry into Dreamworld for 12 months, valid from the date of purchase. You must show your ID when collecting your passes at the park to prove you live within the postcodes listed above.
Cost: $129 for locals
Dreamworld Value Annual Pass (Locals and Visitors)
This one is probably our favourite cheap Dreamworld ticket offer, as for only a few dollars more you can experience a full 12 months of cheap Dreamworld fun and access for the same period of time to the SkyPoint Observation Deck and WhiteWater World. As if that is not cheap enough, the Value Annual Pass also get you:
- 1 entry to Dreamworld’s Happy Halloween event
- 1 entry to ice skating during Dreamworld’s Winterfest event and
- Food, beverage and merchandise discounts
Cost: $139 for locals | $159 non-locals
Dreamworld Locals Annual Pass
This pass offers the same deal as the Value Pass, but has one very important difference. If you think that you will want to continue going back to Dreamworld beyond your first year, then with the Locals Pass you are able to get a renewal ticket at an even cheaper price.
Cost first year: $149 for locals
Renewal cost for every year after: $119 for locals
RACQ Dreamworld Member Discounts
If you are a member of roadside assistance and insurance provider RACQ, then make sure you head online and check out what deals they are currently offering before purchasing yours at the gate. At the time of writing this, they were offering discounted prices and a bonus ‘skip the queue’ pass valued at $19.95.

Online favourites when it comes to hunting down a good deal, Scoupon and Groupon regularly have amazing deals come up for cheap Dreamworld tickets. Even though they did not have any current deals going at the time of writing this, if you type Dreamworld into their search function you can see the deals they have had offers in the past and they are all well worth keeping an eye out for again in the future. They tend to do their deals in cycles, so if there isn’t one listed at the moment, be patient, as chances are another one will be listed on their site again soon. By downloading their apps on your phone, you can keep a closer eye on when they do pop up too.
Entertainment Book
The Entertainment Book that use to be bought and delivered at schools when we were younger is now available in an easy online membership that for a price brings you a wealth of amazing discount vouchers, deals and cheap tickets. Membership costs $69.99 for deals in your city, or $119.99 for multiple-city deals across 12 months. 3-month and 24-month memberships are also available. Although you have to outlay that membership cost on top of your Dreamworld ticket prices, if you love to eat out, go to movies, or have any fun at all, then chances are you will make that money back after only a month!
