Located in a shady corner, Enoggera Memorial Park is a lovely spot for families with younger children to spend some time. This delightful neighbourhood playground has fun equipment, plenty of shade, grassy spaces, and a small scooter track.
Enoggera Memorial Park Playground
Under the ample shade sails awaits brightly coloured forts, ready for adventure. Bridges, a rope tunnel and a disc challenge bridge, connect the forts. At the same time, slides and a firefighter’s pole deliver Brisbane Kids back to ground level.
Down on the ground, there are lots of options for toddlers. Under the platforms, there is always something to do, like play shops. This particular shop window would be an excellent dog parlour or maybe a dog-friendly café. Little ones will also find a flying plane game board, a toddler abacus, a toddler slide and some doorway panels to step through.
Throughout the playground, children can enjoy the swings, which include a standard swing and an infant swing. A tulip-shaped carousel spins by turning the inner circle, and some twirling sensory flowers border the play area.
Another appealing feature of this playground is the small scooter track. The track is situated right next to the play equipment, making it easy for parents to supervise children in both locations. There are some traffic signs along the course and a few simple obstacles, such as a roundabout, a slight downhill dip and a bridge. Trees partially shade the track.
Note – Unfortunately this park does NOT have toilet facilities.
Enoggera Memorial Park Imagination Factor
This playground is ideal for a pretend tea party or teddy bear’s picnic! The tulip-shaped carousel, spinning flowers, and lovely shaded picnic spots between the trees set the scene for a delightful soiree.
If your play session needs to be a little more physical, the connected forts with slides are also the perfect spot to play “The Floor is Lava.” Perhaps help from the emergency services will arrive via the scooter track.
Accessibility at Enoggera Memorial Park
Some things are accessible by individuals using a wheelchair; however, this is not considered an all-abilities playground. The scooter track is a paved surface that winds between some trees while the shop window, toddler abacus and game panel are at ground level. Still, movement between these elements is over bark chips.

What We Thought of Enoggera Memorial Park
We feel this playground is quite appealing, particularly for families with young kids and toddlers. My four-year-old thoroughly enjoyed the small scooter track, which was large enough to provide some challenges while allowing him to have fun. Watching him play independently without having to follow him around was great.
