Partially fenced, with an incredible array of playground areas and facilities, the park is also all-abilities, meaning that all kids can come and make the most of what is on offer.
Capalaba Regional Park’s modern facilities are great for a family picnic or BBQ, with shelters, tables, and wheelchair-accessible toilets.
The all-abilities playground features awesome play equipment, including a musical forest, sand play area and natural plantings.
The hills and mounds with inbuilt slides and ramps will impress your Brisbane Kids. Other features include giant climbing nets, a flying fox and a liberty swing, and a casual sports area and function area for many different things to do.

One of the main drawcards to this park is its all-abilities facilities and design. A liberty swing, wide open spacious grounds and plenty of flat pathways between the different playgrounds mean all kids can be involved.
Despite being set on more than one level, Capalaba Regional Park is highly accessible. Wheelchair-accessible toilets are provided and many smooth flat paths make negotiating with a wheelchair or pram easily. The multiple shelters provide respite from the sun and several bench seats throughout to keep an eye on your Brisbane Kids.
The main bottom playground area is fully fenced and several shade trees are throughout.
Capalaba Regional Park – Nature Play
Aside from the amazing playground facilities, Capalaba Regional Park is also an incredible green space for families. With numerous ponds and lakes filled with ducks, birds and water animals, there is plenty to see and explore outside the playground fences.
Long, meandering pathways run between huge treed parks and grassy fields. Beautiful picnic spaces and an off-leash dog park can be found beneath the speckled shade of the trees behind the playground. Bring the family pet, a ball or some outdoor sporting equipment and make a day out of the many gorgeous nature spaces offered at Capalaba Regional Park.
In the playground itself, there are also many nature play areas, including sand play and wooden poles and beams to navigate.
