Kianawah Road District Park on Brisbane’s southside has a spacious unfenced playground that is sheltered by colourful shade sails for Brisbane Kids to enjoy at all times of the day.
The playground features climbing equipment, slides, balancing equipment, rockers and spring seesaws.
The biggest drawcard at this playground, especially among the older children, is the large double flying fox, which is perfect for racing. Who will reach the end first!?
A full sized basketball court provide hours of enjoyment, just don’t forget to bring your own ball so you can shoot some hoops.
Kianawah Road District Park has great toilet facilities, as well as several electric barbeques and picnic shelters, making it a good spot for a family picnic or afternoon tea.

What We Thought of Kianawah Road District Park
The variety of challenging equipment was fabulous at this fun playground. We thoroughly enjoyed the big open spaces and endless flying through the air on the flying fox.
