  • AboutBrisbane Kids Creative was created by me! Ngaire Stirling. I wont pretend to talk in the third person about myself, instead let me tell you a bit about me and how 110.232.142.129/~brisba22 came about. At the time the domain name 110.232.142.129/~brisba22 came up for purchase I was a stay at home mum in the middle of a degree centred around journalism and PR. a couple of years earlier I had been contemplating returning to my previous career in marketing management and for a while I even tried. 3 months into a new role and it was clear that I had no passion for my old life and to make the decision to quit easier, my almost 2 year old at the time was not coping with childcare. So, as a family we made the decision for me to return to becoming a stay at home mum. About 1 years later or so.. 110.232.142.129/~brisba22 came up for sale. My friends had often commented on my ability to know exactly what was happening in Brisbane for kids. I had my son enrolled in some awesome activities and we often visited some great destinations. I loved finding fun things for us to do…

Harry Potter Park Brisbane

Last updated: August 25, 2023
Wooden fort at Bray Farm Park.

Bray Farm Park is an enchanting playground that offers a magical blend of art, culture, and adventure. With its Harry Potter theme and Halloween vibe, this park will inspire and captivate Brisbane Kids. Despite its relatively small size, the park is bursting with character and charm, making it the perfect destination for anyone seeking a unique Harry Potter play experience.

Bray Farm Park is tucked away in Griffin, a suburb north of Brisbane. It is a relatively new park flanked by nature and designed to entertain children and ignite their imaginations. The park’s central focus is the ‘Harry Potter’- like structure with turrets, windows, a bridge, a fire pole, a climbing net and a slide.

Various bird and animal statues sit perched upon the cottage and around the play equipment, which could make for a fun game of i-spy. Giant pumpkins and tomatoes are dotted throughout the park too.

Children can test their climbing skills on the fire pole or scale the climbing sphere to see if they can get as high as the trees.

In addition to the play equipment, Brisbane Kids playing at Bray Farm Park can immerse themselves in nature, with the park surrounded by an abundance of native trees. Perhaps they could even spot koalas or kangaroos!

Imagination Factor at Bray Farm Park

This park is the perfect location to act out all the well know children’s stories involving magical themes. Is there room on your broom? That cat on the handrail, is it Mog or Professor McGonagall?

If you can imagine a few sweets over the outside, this could even be the cottage from Hansel and Gretel. Perhaps, with all the pumpkins lying about, this is the tower where Cinderella awaits her fairy Godmother so she can go to the ball.

Accessibility at Bray Farm Park

Concrete paths weave in and around the park and extend beyond, making the area accessible for wheelchairs, prams, scooters and bikes. Unfortunately, however, there is no direct concrete access to the equipment, as the playground base is mainly bark.

There is a shaded picnic table and bench seats. Shade is supplied by trees surrounding the playground. The park is not fenced and is relatively close to the road. The landscaping does provide a barrier to the road in places; however, young children should be supervised closely.

There are no toilet facilities located at the park though these do often come later when locals request. If you are local to this park or enjoy it, then we suggest you contact your local councillor or state minister to see how they might be able to assist.

What We Thought of Bray Farm Park

Fort and vegetable sculptures at Bray Farm Park.

We loved the very different look of this playground. My little Brisbane Kid enjoyed spotting all the animals and birds. Much of the equipment is in the direct sun during the middle of the day, so bringing a hat is advisable.

How to Get to Bray Farm Park

Bray Farm Park is located in Riverbreeze Estate on Rivermint Street, Griffin, QLD.
