Hemmant Scooter Park is a fabulous place to bring your wheels and explore the awesome scooter track looping around the perimeter of an island themed playground. Whether you are looking to ride, scoot or play, there is plenty of fun things to amuse families at this spacious Brisbane park.

Hemmant Scooter Park is a fun place to get confident on wheels. The track has a nice combination of flat areas for beginners and speed humps, bridges, hills, rocks, a cable ferry, directional arrows, and a pedestrian crossing for the older riders.
The colourful island adventure playground is both toddler and older Brisbane Kid friendly. There is equipment which is low to the ground for smaller children to explore, the always popular swings, a slide and plenty of play areas for imaginative play.
Unfortunately there are NO toilet facilities at Hemmant Scooter Park, though these sometimes come later, so please contact your local council if this is something you feel strongly about.

At Hemmant Scooter Park, Brisbane Kids of all ages will be busy for large lengths of time. A brilliant riding track with flat areas, humps, bends, bridges and obstacles for riders of all levels. Just don’t forget to bring your wheels, a helmet, protective gear and a sense of adventure.
The adventure island playground offers a lot of inspiration for endless imaginary play. There’s a house with various domestic spaces, a beach hut, climbing opportunities, cafe, theatre, fishing rod, swings, rocker, slide and a cable ferry which kids will love.
The dry creek bed with river stones is perfect for nature loving kids who enjoy inventing their own games. Sculptures of small creatures are hidden throughout the playground encouraging exploration and curiosity.

Unfortunately, Hemmant Scooter Park – Paul Conti Park is an unfenced park.
There is a large network of concrete paths running around the park which are designed for scooting/bikes. Some covered picnic tables are dotted around the park, plenty of street parking and a nearby fenced dog park.
A small section of the playground is shaded by shade sails, but unfortunately there are limited trees, so most of the park is unshaded.
There are no toilets at Hemmant Scooter Park.

What We Thought of Hemmant Scooter Park – Paul Conti Park
We spent ages playing in the playground and scooting around the track. The theatre was a highlight; a fun space to perform to a seated audience. Unfortunately, due to the lack of shade we left when it got too hot.
