Situated on the banks of the Albert River, this park is in Eagleby just across the M1 from Beenleigh town centre. This park boasts state of the art play equipment, a basketball court, large skate bowl, barbecues, covered picnic tables, shade sales and plenty of outdoor seating. There is plenty here for Brisbane Kids of all ages, so pack your sports equipment and maybe a picnic or plan a barbecue!
Albert River Park playground
This is a park with something for everyone! There’s a large skate bowl, a basketball court, a table tennis table, plenty of green space and an impressive range of playground equipment that will have Brisbane Kids racing to climb, slide, swing and play. The sunny yellow colour theme is bright, bold and fun.
There are two main parts of the Albert River Park playground. There is an incredible multi-storey playground upgrade to keep bigger or more adventurous Brisbane Kids happy for hours. This playground features a range of challenging net climbs, sky bridges, two different tunnel super slides and sky cabins.
Within the same sand-based playground area, there is older original playground (but still in great condition) suitable for younger kids featuring a more basic climbing fort and a pair of slides. There are also rockers, a spider web rope climb, a climbing wall and a pair of swings – one with a toddler swing seat and a traditional belt swing.
Alongside the playground forts is a 20 metre long flying fox over a separate sand base.
This playground is enhanced by fantastic permanent street furniture, including tables, chairs and benches and sun lounges, making the perfect place to relax while your kids play, climb and explore. There’s also an outdoor table tennis table as part of this furniture, so bring along some paddles for a game.
The skate bowl is quite large for a playground skate park. It has been painted in fun bright colours and includes rails, ramps and banks, a 6 foot half pipe, a fun box and grind boxes. There are gentle slopes and flat areas here for beginners, but also lots for more experienced skaters to explore and enjoy.

Imagination Factor
This playground is incredible for imaginative play! The hight of the climbing structure allows children to imagine they’re high in a jungle or a forest tree house, in a high skyscraper or exploring the rigging of a ship. It also makes for an incredible superhero (or super villain) headquarters complete with escape slides.
Accessibility
There is a ramp to access the toilet block here and many paths for access. The play equipment is all on a sand base. The playground is located away from the roads and river however the playground and parklands are both unfenced.
There is a small dedicated car park, but plenty of street parking is available.
