Plantation Place Park at Wellington Point is a delightful destination that offers families a wonderful sheltered playground and a fun mini-cycle precinct all nestled within a pristine, tree-filled setting.

Tucked away within the back streets not far from Wellington Point lies a little gem called Plantation Place Park. Rimmed by huge towering, bushy trees, the park’s long-winding and generously-spaced bike path starts not far from the street and leads its visitors along a small trail of delight, as it winds its way past the many joys this park has to offer.

First you will pass under some inviting climbing trees before you reach the shady, sand-based playground. Here you will find a large climbing structure, slide, bridge and rope sections alongside a set of swings.

Follow the path further along and you will end up at what is undoubtably the main attraction for most kids. Plantation Place Park’s delightful mini cycle precinct is a haven for any little bike or scooter enthusiast with a keen imagination. Complete with mini petrol and train stations, ticket booths, road signs and parking bays, there is plenty here to keep the kids entertained for hours.

This section also has a small bicycle slalom as well as mini scooter / bike ramps and corrugations.

Kid’s will be able to let their imagination run wild on what is one of the best mini cycle parks in Brisbane. Together with their friends they can travel far and wide on multiple adventures. Buy a ticket and get on the train or journey long distances as they fill up with fuel along the way.

This park is filled with so many nature play opportunities for kids. With a range of different climbing trees to climb and hidden trails amongst the forest of trees that surround the park to explore, kids can spend just as much time playing in the natural playground as the one that has been built for them.

Accessibility

Whilst the park doesn’t have any public toilets or sheltered seating etc, it does offer wide, flat pathways that make accessing it from the street parking and beyond quite easy.
