First opened in 2010, Bribie Island Seaside Museum showcases items from the Moreton Bay Regional Council Heritage Collection, historical displays and continuing exhibitions that highlight the islands connection to the surrounding waterways, alongside wonderful temporary exhibitions that tell the changing story of the region.

- First Nations Elder Stories from the region
- a theatre showing films about the famous S.S Koopa (1180-1953) and holidaying on Bribie Island
- stories of Bribie Island’s important role during World War II
- the story of internationally renowned artist Ian Fairweather
Visitors can explore the intriguing and unique people and places of Bribie Island through the immersive and interactive displays throughout the museum or extend their experience through the museum’s diverse range of events and workshops for all ages.
