Everyone loves desserts and ice creams, especially kids. We thought we would ask our Brisbane Kids Facebook followers for their thoughts on the best places in Brisbane to enjoy delicious desserts and ice cream, and these are the results (in no particular order).

1. Flour & Chocolate

If you haven’t sampled the amazing treats from Flour & Chocolate yet, we suggest you get to your nearest store ASAP! While there is a huge selection of sweet and savoury morsels here to devour, we highly recommend the pastries, croissants, cakes, and brownies. With regular favourites and rotating weekly specials, there is always something new to try. Knead Gelato is also sold at Flour & Chocolate’s Morningside and Northgate stores, making it the ultimate dessert destination.
2. Max Brenner

We couldn’t believe our eyes when we saw the amount of chocolate on offer at Max Brenner! Chocolate waffles for breakfast? Why not?! With a Mexican hot chocolate? SURE! Honestly, if you love chocolate and you haven’t been to Max Brenner’s, then GO NOW! But be warned – they are super popular.
3. Gelateria Cremona

The lovely Gelateria Cremona is famous for its delicious gelati, made fresh daily for your yummy enjoyment. They have an amazing array of flavours, including Ferrero Rocher that has actual chunks of Ferrero inside!
4. Gelato Messina

Unique flavours of ice cream are what Gelato Messina does best. Their menu consists of 35 permanent flavours (we highly, highly recommend the Salted Caramel & White Chocolate!!), along with several rotating weekly specials. Gelato Messina even has their own dairy farm to produce the super creamy Jersey cow milk used in their recipes. Check out their special birthday cakes and seasonal creations too – they are incredible!

Some of the best, traditional Italian gelati in Brisbane can be found at La Macelleria Gelateria. Made with fresh milk, fresh cream, sugar, and natural flavours, don’t mistake this for ice cream! Flavours include Stracciatella, Pistacchio, Caffe, Tiramisu, and more.
7. Eat Street Northshore

If you want a variety of desserts served up in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere, then head to Eat Street Northshore. Visitors can indulge in sweet treats from a range of vendors including Chocolate Komberry Co., Dutch De Lites, Carcamo Gourmet Caramel Apples, Churro Lab and the Dessert Lab. The hard part will be trying to decide what to eat first (we say skip dinner and go straight to dessert!)!
8. Baskin-Robbins

Baskin-Robbins stocks a variety of the most beautiful ice cream flavours. Each to their own, but we believe their Chocolate Mousse Royale would be a hit with the most dedicated of chocolate lovers. Baskin-Robbins also offer banana splits, sundaes, ice cream cakes, waffles and brownies.
9. Milani House of Gelato in Hamilton
4/53 Racecourse Road, Hamilton
Milani House of Gelato has won all sorts impressive awards. Not knowing there even were awards for this type of thing, we are impressed! Milani was nominated several times by Brisbane mums and dads, so this place must be good! Their website shows an array of yummy desserts; from the decadent Banana Split or Death by Chocolate, to the Coppa Della Casa featuring fruit salad and sorbet. Check out Milani for custom-made gelati cakes and other desserts to take away.
10. Amoroso Gelateria
