Nothing quite personifies the Australian food culture like a seafood buffet. Brisbane has several locations that have proven they can deliver a quality seafood buffet, whether for a family celebration or just for a lovely casual Sunday lunch. We have tried to only share the best in this list – the tried and true buffet providers – so you can ensure the best seafood buffet Brisbane experience.

All you can eat seafood buffet Brisbane, verses seafood platters
A traditional buffet is a smorgasbord set up where you can choose what seafood you want. Generally, the setup is quite informal (but it’s not always), and often there are hot and cold seafood options. We have restricted this list to buffets only. Here are our favourite seafood buffets in Brisbane:
Broncos Leagues Club Seafood Buffet
The Broncos Leagues Club seafood buffet in their Grill Restaurant is as iconic as the club it represents, serving families delicious seafood buffets on the last Saturday of every month for lunch and dinner. Their buffet promises fresh oysters, mussels, crabs, and an assortment of fish. They also complement their seafood buffet with a range of salads and a regular roast and pasta buffet.
There are some requirements for entry, obviously being over 18 if not accompanied by an adult, being a member or a member of an associate club or live outside 15km’s of the club and having proof of residency. The pricing for members for the seafood buffet is $15 less if pre-paid, so it’s worth considering being a member if you plan to attend on a regular basis. This is another experience you are absolutely going to want to book ahead for and it regularly books out.
Broncos Leagues Club is located on 98 Fulcher Rd, Red Hill QLD 4059. You can find out more about them and their seafood buffet here on their buffet menu.
Suzette (formerly Thyme2) Restaurant at the Sofitel Brisbane
The Sofitel Brisbane is renowned for their buffet, be it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or even special events such as Christmas. With lunch and dinner buffets on offer, Suzette promises not only a range of internationally-inspired hot dishes, salads, dips, cold cuts, Australian cheeses, and breads, but an extensive seafood selection that includes Mooloolaba cooked prawns, marinated green-lipped mussels, Sydney Rock oysters, bugs, and whole baked salmon. Don’t forget to save some space for the incredible dessert selection also included in this amazing buffet experience.
Suzette is located in the Sofitel Brisbane, at 249 Turbot Street Brisbane. You can reserve a table here.
