  • AboutBrisbane Kids Creative was created by me! Ngaire Stirling. I wont pretend to talk in the third person about myself, instead let me tell you a bit about me and how 110.232.142.129/~brisba22 came about. At the time the domain name 110.232.142.129/~brisba22 came up for purchase I was a stay at home mum in the middle of a degree centred around journalism and PR. a couple of years earlier I had been contemplating returning to my previous career in marketing management and for a while I even tried. 3 months into a new role and it was clear that I had no passion for my old life and to make the decision to quit easier, my almost 2 year old at the time was not coping with childcare. So, as a family we made the decision for me to return to becoming a stay at home mum. About 1 years later or so.. 110.232.142.129/~brisba22 came up for sale. My friends had often commented on my ability to know exactly what was happening in Brisbane for kids. I had my son enrolled in some awesome activities and we often visited some great destinations. I loved finding fun things for us to do…

Logan Bike Trails

Last Updated: January 31, 2023
logan bike trails queensland

Logan City boasts several well-maintained bike tracks, many of which trail through local parks and state forests. With its diverse and accessible bike trails, The City of Logan is an excellent destination for those looking to explore the outdoors on two wheels.

Daisy Hill Conservation Park, Daisy Hill

There are 10 bike-only trails at Daisy Hill Conservation Park and 12 mixed-use trails where bikes are permitted to share the track with walkers and horse riders. Most tracks in the park are for intermediate-level riders and range from 5-minute to 2-hour estimated ride lengths.

Cornubia Mountain Bike Trails, Shailer Park

Featuring 14 different trails covering 18 kilometres, the Cornubia Mountain Bike Trails are a popular destination for mountain biking! The trails are rated for intermediate and advanced riders, so are best suited to people with some existing mountain biking experience.

Scrubby Creek Bike Track – Loganlea Road to Berrinba Wetlands, Meadowbrook

bike trail from logan lea to berrinba

Scrubby Creek Bike Track is a 10.5km, point-to-point trail, taking an average of 2-hours to ride in one direction. If 2-hours one-way or 4-hours return is too much of an ask, there are smaller sections of this trail that might suit. This is an easy, level track and it’s up to the riders to determine how far they go.

Logan Village to Yarrabilba Rail Trail, Logan Village

The Logan Village to Yarrabilba Rail Trail is 3.5km in one direction. This 2.5m wide asphalt pathway is designed for walking, jogging and hiking. The trail is built on the de-commissioned Bethania to Beaudesert rail corridor, which is now a Logan City Council-managed road reserve.

Slacks Creek Bikeway, Springwood

The Slacks Creek Bikeway is a 10km bitumen bikeway that runs from Springwood to the Tygum Lagoon in River Glen Village. It’s an easy track, taking riders past various scenery including the Logan Gardens playground and water play park. Please note: The entire track is 10km long, meaning it’s a 20km round trip, so attempting a section of the track might not be advisable for beginners.

How to find other bike tracks in Logan City

To find lesser-known local bike tracks in Logan City, you can try the following:

  1. Visit the Logan City Council website, they have a section dedicated to parks and recreation, and they might have information on bike tracks in the area. Also, check out Explore Logan for local information, including bike trails.
  2. Search for “bike tracks in Logan City” on Google Maps; this will give you a map view of local bike trails and their locations.
  3. Check with local bike shops or cycling clubs. They may have information about popular bike tracks or group rides.
  4. Visit websites such as Alltrails and Trailforks, where users can find, review, and share mountain bike trails.
