CDP presents Tall Stories’ magical musical adaptation of the Gruffalo Live at Garden’s Theatre in March 2019.
The Gruffalo
CDP are bringing The Gruffalo to life just for Brisbane Kids just before the Easter school holidays. Based on the award winning children’s book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, the audience will be introduced to 3 not so nice characters as Mouse makes his journey through the deep dark woods to find some hazelnuts to eat. The cunning Fox, the eccentric old Owl and the party mad Snake all try to eat Mouse as he passes them, but with a clever story about The Gruffalo, Mouse just may end up saving himself from becoming dinner for these hungry woodland creatures. The audience will have to decide for themselves if the Gruffalo Mouse speaks of with terrible claws, knobbly knees, orange eyes, black tongue and purple prickles all over his back is real or not. After all, there’s no such thing as a Gruffalo – is there?
The show is a magical musical adventure full of songs, laughs and fun recommended for Brisbane Kids aged 3 years and older and all fans of The Gruffalo.
