One of the biggest annual events on the Ipswich calendar, the Ipswich Show is ready for a massive event in 2018. This show with a proud tradition in farming and bringing people together will run over 3 days starting with the Ipswich public holiday on Friday the 17 May and concluding on Sunday the 19 May.
What’s on at the Ipswich Show in 2019?
Celebrating its 146th year in 2019, The Ipswich Show will again take place at the Ipswich Showgrounds. This year’s program is impressive; jam packed full of fun events and entertainment to ensure that everyone has a great day out! From traditional displays like farm animals, wood chopping and and the Young Talent and Miss Showgirl competitions, to the more modern Dunny Derby, families will be entertained and thrilled every day of the Ipswich Show.
Adding to the fun, The Farmyard Friends and animal nursery provides an opportunity for city folk to get hands on with some cuddly friends at the Ipswich Show, whilst adrenaline junkies will get a big thrill watching the Demolition Derby, Utes and the fireworks
On top of the full calendar of events and entertainment, the Ipswich Show also includes all of the traditional show favourites, including a side-show alley, showbags, dagwood dogs, rides, roving performers, an international food court, a Laser Light spectacular and fireworks!

Currently online tickets are available for purchase and listed below. Tickets at the gate are more expensive so it is recommended to pre-purchase tickets online.
- $18 per Adult
- $13 per concession or student
- $8 per primary age school student
- FREE kids under Prep
- $45 per family ticket ( 2x adult and 2x primary kids and 1 x high school student)

Are the rides free?

14/6/2016. Great show for children and adults. Side show alley expensive. Check contents of show bags before leaving stall – 4 out of 4 of ours were missing the main items as advertised. Good free parking at school with free bus transfer very generous, or $5 at show site – not bad. A good day out.
