Brisbane Kite Festival
The annual Brisbane Kite Festival will be a fantastic day for the whole family with spectacular kites in the sky and a sea of colour highlighting beautifully crafted masterpieces. Don’t look up too long or you’ll miss the action on the ground: food and drink stalls, Carina Men’s Shed, kite entertainment and plenty of space to fly your own kite, or purchase one on the day.
Bring the whole family along to enjoy a day of fun and kite flying. A range of child-friendly activities will include face painting, rides and of course flying a kite. Hot food and cold drinks will be available until sold out, or bring along a picnic/rug/chairs. See below for a full list of food stalls.
There will be a designated area for the public to fly their kites, alongside professional kite flyers.
Bring along your own masterpiece, or purchase one on the day.
