The Patch

Step into The Patch, Pine Rivers Heritage Museum’s latest Imaginarium experience where you can get your hands into a garden of family fun.

The Imaginarium is a dedicated intergenerational play space filled with varied activities and crafts designed for everyone to create, learn and explore together.

You can plant and harvest in the pretend veggie patch and collect eggs from the play chickens. Get creative at the craft activity station and add your own nature-inspired masterpieces to the colourful walls.

Pine Rivers Heritage Museum aim to start conversations about the natural world and encourage young minds to develop an appreciation for the environment.

You can also check out The Great Aussie Backyard exhibition while you are there.

The Patch

  • When: Saturday, 21 October 2023 – Sunday, 28 April 2024. The museum is open Wednesday to Sunday, 10am – 3pm.
  • Where: Pine Rivers Heritage Museum, Old Petrie Town, 901 – 949 Dayboro Road, Whiteside 4503
  • Cost: Free. No bookings required
