Make Music Month
The City of Moreton Bay is set to amplify its cultural scene with a month-long music trail throughout June, spanning its galleries, museums, libraries, and more. A diverse array of free events awaits, including live performances, jam sessions, open mics, workshops, and immersive music-making experiences.
Residents across the City of Moreton Bay can look forward to live music catering to every taste, all at no cost. Local talents, ranging from solo artists like Basoki and Amber Worthington to bands such as Vixens of Fall, Freight Train Foxes, and The Smashing Bumpkins, will grace the stage. Attendees can also immerse themselves in captivating art exhibitions, intriguing museum displays, and engaging storytelling sessions.
Highlighting the calendar is the day-long musical extravaganza on June 21st, celebrating global Make Music Day. Join in the festivities with free jam sessions and a plethora of entertainment for all ages. Bring along friends and family to forge unforgettable musical memories together.
