Koala Tree Community Planting
Join the fun with Indigiscape’s Bushcare Team and Hilliards Park Bushcare group and help put 1500 native seedlings in the ground to expand habitat for the local wildlife at Hillards Creek Park.
This area is an important wildlife corridor and local residents often spot koalas. At 10am and 11am researchers from University of the Sunshine Coast Detection Dogs for Conservation will be on hand to take you on a guided walk to spot koalas in the wild. You’ll learn trade tips and tricks for successfully finding the fluffiest marsupial!
There will be a sausage sizzle at the end of the event.
