Brisbane Street Art Festival
Brisbane Street Art Festival are welcoming you, for the 9th year in a row, to celebrate, explore and get up close and personal with Brisbane’s Street Art community. The 2024 festival program has something for everyone, featuring live mural art, and workshops for all ages. Across locations including Howard Smith Wharves, RNA Showgrounds, the Tivoli, and Superordinary, plus more. An immersive festival launch party, exhibitions, and live music will ensure you are immersed in Brisbane’s rich and diverse art and culture scene.
BSAF engages with some of Brisbane’s, Australia’s and the world’s best street artists. With 24 artists, across 11 sites, there is plenty of opportunity to explore the 2024 artists. Damien Mitchell and David Lee Pereira will showcase their artworks at the Tivoli. Moochul, Matam, Kaho, and Sethius Art at Superordinary, the home of Brisbane Street Art Festival. As well as Em Niwa, Luminous Black, The Brightsiders, J Daniel, and Cait Doromozo at Howard Smith Wharves. Plus SO many more for you to explore and interact with.
Visitors are encouraged to explore the city’s streets and discover the incredible artwork on display. BSAF is committed to showcasing the diversity of Brisbane’s street art scene, and this year’s festival promises to feature an even wider range of styles and techniques.
“No Expectations,” is a First Nations Art Exhibition in collaboration with the Brisbane Street Art Festival. This exhibition challenges conventional expectations of Indigenous artistry, inviting you to explore the diverse and dynamic expressions of First Nations artists.
Through an eclectic array of styles and mediums, “No Expectations” celebrates the individuality and creativity of Indigenous artists, highlighting their unique perspectives and contributions to contemporary art. By showcasing a range of artistic voices, this exhibition seeks to redefine perceptions of Indigenous art, prompting viewers to ponder the question: What does it mean to be a First Nations artist in today’s world?
