UQ Alumni Book Fair Family Fun Day

Saturday 4 May is family fun day at the UQ Alumni Book Fair, with free story time sessions, face painting and craft. Spark your child’s love of reading with hundreds of children’s and young adult books to inspire every budding bookworm!

Make a day of it – our beautiful UQ lakes are perfect for a picnic; the UQ Art Museum will also be open between 11–3pm with free entry; and the campus all-abilities Recreation Precinct Playground is just a short walk from the Book Fair!

Activities include:

  • ‘Fairy Hour’ at 10am and 1pm, with story time sessions and free arts and craft
  • Free face-painting from 10am–12pm
  • A coffee cart for a babycino pick-me-up and sweet and savoury crepes
  • The UQ Art Museum will be open between 11–3pm with free entry
  • Explore the campus’s all-abilities Recreation Precinct Playground – it even has a hedge maze!

Please note, children must be supervised by an accompanying adult at all times.
