Museum of Brisbane Pop Up in Queen Street Mall
Museum of Brisbane will be popping up in Queen Street Mall this November with a very special participatory project.
Located in Queen Street Mall’s purpose-built pop-up space, MoB will be bringing one of its most recent Artists in Residence Dead Puppet Society along for the ride.
Visitors will be invited to share a special memory of a place in Brisbane through a custom-made centrepiece designed and assembled using Dead Puppet Society’s signature computer and machine assisted approach. Participating in this interactive activity will help build an emotional map of memories – it is envisaged the data collected will be used as part of future experiments in design-led storytelling by Dead Puppet Society.
You will also be able to shop a curated selection from the MoB Shop and kids will get a chance to take part in a colouring competition to win a MoB Kids prize pack from the shop.
MoB’s Artist in Residence Program is supported by Tim Fairfax AC.
Things to do:
- Meet the MoB Team and find out more about the exciting exhibitions
- Take part in a participatory mapping project by design-led masterminds Dead Puppet Society
- Colour in your very own City Hall
