Award-winning Larrikin Puppets, established in 2012, is a thriving Australian puppetry arts company founded by Brett Hansen. His wife, Elissa Jenkins, joins him as co-puppeteer. They specialise in children’s entertainment and kids’ music.

Brett and Elissa, who have received training in the USA under Jim Henson puppeteers from The Muppets and Sesame Street, provide child and family audiences with wide-eyed wonder, joy and laughs from beginning to end.

What is the cleaning process in between clients? All baby items are thoroughly cleaned in between hiring. Being run by a mum herself, QLD Baby Hire understands the need to keep your baby free from germs and this is their number one priority. They also check all equipment to make sure this is in working condition and ready for your baby.

Where can I collect from? QLD Baby Hire has two locations – Carina Heights in Brisbane and Ashmore on the Gold Coast. They also offer delivery in and around the Brisbane, Gold Coast and Northern NSW areas.

What is the booking process? Once you get in contact, QLD Baby Hire will send you a run down of all the costs, including the bond/deposit which is held for the duration of your hire. If you would like to go ahead and book, a small holding fee is required to secure your spot. This is ether $30 or $50, depending on the item. The remaining balance is then due upon collection.

Can I rent the SNOO out for less than a month to see if my baby likes it? QLD Baby Hire does offer weekly hire, however, when using the SNOO with her daughter, Jaidina found it took her around 11 nights to fully get in the swing of things. She personally believes you may need longer than a week to get the full benefit. This isn’t always the case though, and they see a lot of babies that settle in the SNOO immediately.

Can I book in advance even if I do not know the exact date I would like to collect? Absolutely! This is the best thing to do as QLD Baby Hire does book out quite far in advance! Once you have secured your spot, you can pencil in a date for your hire to start and come up with a more accurate date closer to the time.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have supervision rules for parents? Supervision is required at all times. Children under the age of 13 must be actively supervised at all times under a supervision ratio of 1 adult to 2 children.

Is there a minimum age? Urban Climb recommends ages 5+ for bouldering, as kids are required to demonstrate they can do their safety fall and be signed off by an Urban Climb instructor. Supervisors must be at least 18 years old.

Do I need to book? In general, there is no need to book, and you can rock up to climb at anytime. If you want to get ahead you can complete a waiver before coming in via the Urban Climb website. If you have a group of 10 or more coming in, they ask that you call ahead so they can ensure they can run you through a safety demo in a timely manner.

How long can I stay for? As long as you want! Urban Climb’s safety inductions will run for around 30-minutes. Once this is over, you’re free to spend as much time in the gym as you please.

Flipside Circus can help to make your kids best party ever! Flipside offers active parties allowing children to do what they do best – play! Plus, takes the stress and guesswork out of arranging the

Circus Birthday Parties

Your birthday party will be facilitated by professional circus trainers at the Flipside Circus Training Centre in Alderley. hot water urn) as well as tables, tablecloths and chairs for the party room. There will be regular breaks throughout the party for snacks time, and of course time at the end for cake.

Safety

Flipside provides a safe working ratio of participants to trainer. They provide a safe, indoor environment for all party participants to try a range of circus activities. Booking with Flipside Circus also covers all associated insurance costs.
