Speak Up Studio holds fun and creative school holiday workshops for kids in Brisbane at their beautiful Red Hill, Spring Hill and Sherwood Studios.
The workshops focus on a range of creative areas, such as musical theatre, drama, art and craft, film-making and science. Each workshop is carefully designed by experienced teachers, using popular content to engage and inspire students. They vary in length from three hour workshops to more in depth programs that are held over several days.
School Holiday Creative Workshops
School holiday classes are a fantastic way for children to have fun and develop their creativity. They are a great option for kids who are unable to attend weekly classes, who can’t commit to a whole term of lessons, or who would like to try drama for the first time. They are also a wonderful way for students to work intensively on a particular skill, such as acting, singing and dancing or art and craft.
Speak Up’s school holiday workshops aim to develop self-confidence, communication skills and creativity through various mediums. Speak Up Studio teachers take pride in ensuring workshops are engaging, age-appropriate, and most importantly, full of excitement.

The workshops are split into different programs:
Little Experts
Age: Prep to Grade 2
These full day workshops are fun, engaging and finish with an exciting outcome, usually, a performance, photoshoot or a fancy craft to take home!
A Play in a Day
Age: Grade 3 to Grade 6
A Play in a Day workshops are a little longer and are designed to extend students’ skills in a particular area through fun, engaging and challenging content and activities.
Born to Perform
Age: Grade 1 to 12
The Born to Perform Program is Speak Up’s performance workshop extravaganza! Over 3 or 5 days, a committed and talented group of students workshop and perform a full-length play or musical.
