Calling all creative kids in Brisbane … Join The Buzz Media Co’s 3-day camps led by qualified and experienced professionals in all things media. These classes are designed to give each child the opportunity to experience different areas of media and excel in the area that interest them the most.
About The Buzz Media Co
The Buzz Media Co is dedicated to delivering their Creative Kids program to the highest standard. They aim to build the next generation of public speakers, film directors, photographers, sound engineers, actors, radio personalities and more. Their classes give kids the freedom to explore green screen magic, photography from both sides of the camera, podcasting, interviewing skills, movie directing, public speaking and more in a safe, supportive and nurturing environment.
The Buzz Media Co provides a parent’s login for live updates on your child’s progress during camp. Each student will also receive a USB drive to take home with the work they have created during camp.
Entry Level Buzz Media Camps
The Buzz Media Co’s entry level Honeybee camps offer kids an opportunity to taste test all areas of media, and are split up into 3 age groups, depending on camp group size:
- Buzz Bees: 8-10 years old
- Juniors: 11-14 years old
- Seniors: 14-16 years old
Chatter box
Held in their pop-up podcasting studio with real studio quality equipment. This class engages the kids in all areas of building a radio show.
Animation & Magic
With a beautiful purpose-built green screen, the students can ignite their imagination.
The Creative Corner
This corner is where photography classes and mixed arts and crafts are held. With multiple back drops and quality DSLR cameras, students will learn both sides of the camera.
The Directors Den
This class is designed to give students access to videography equipment, stabilizers, Teleprompters and more. Allowing the students to gain hands on experience filming and producing.
Buzz Media offers a tiered program that offers students the opportunity to grow and move up more advanced and specialised classes.
Once camp attendees have tried all classes, they will have the opportunity to earn a field badge which gives students the ability to build their own day and attend the advanced classes that they may be interested in.

Frequently Asked Questions
When are The Buzz Media Co camps held? Camps are held throughout the school holidays, from 9am to 3pm. Before camp care is offered from 7am to 9am and after camp care is offered from 3pm to 5pm. Presentations are held on day 3 of camp, with all parents and caregivers welcome.
