BeXD Create runs kids’ singing and drama classes at many locations around Brisbane. Their classes are designed to help kids develop their technique, confidence and social skills while having fun with music and acting. Their aim is that students leave their classes not just being better singers, musicians or actors, but also feeling more confident to answer questions at school, share their own ideas, explore their imagination and make new friends.
Singing and Drama Classes
In these classes, students will explore the fundamentals of singing and drama through a variety of engaging activities. They will learn about pitch, tone, volume, rhythm and breathing. Some kids have trouble being loud, some kids love being loud! Everyone is different. In these classes, kids are given permission to make silly, loud, quiet, high and low noises. As the age groups progress, kids look at singing in cannons and harmonies and will look at what makes a ‘good singer’ and how to sing healthily.
The voice is our most powerful tool for communication. Learning the fundamentals of singing can be hugely beneficial, even for those who don’t want to be singers. Along with basic technique, they will learn how to create characters and enhance their storytelling abilities through song. Students will also have the opportunity to explore their imagination through drama improvisation games and movement exercises to aid their emotional expression. The instructors are passionate about fostering a safe and inclusive environment for all students and helping each individual develop tools for lifelong learning, creativity, and self-expression. Private Singing Lessons
With a broad talent pool of teachers, BeXD offers an extensive range of private singing genres including Contemporary, Classical, Musical Theatre, Pop and Jazz. From kids to adults, students will find their unique voice through basic technique, exploring rhythm pitch and tone, breath work and performance technique. Guitar Private Lessons
Friendly, flexible, and casual private guitar lessons for beginners to intermediates, kids to teens. Tailored to your level and goals, you will cover a wide range of topics including guitar anatomy, strumming technique, posture, tuning and maintenance. BeXD teachers will enhance your knowledge of different music genres and techniques including finger picking, palm muting and effects pedals on your choice of acoustic or electric guitar. These lessons focus on hands-on learning, playing, and basic theory to get people playing and having fun!
Music Production
BeXD Songwriters! Take your musical ideas and learn how to turn them into fully produced songs. You’ll cover melody and lyric writing, recording techniques, how to use digital audio workstations (recording software), instrumentation & more!

Frequently Asked Questions
Where are private lessons held? BeXD Create have spaces in Kenmore, Pinjarra Hills, West End and Indooroopilly for private singing and guitar. They work in a recording studio in Fortitude Valley for any sessions requiring recording or production. Home visits can be organised for a small additional fee.
How often do I have to commit to private lessons? BeXD Create offer weekly, fortnightly or casual lessons. BeXD work with you to achieve your desired goals and budget.
Can I trial a group class before I pay for the whole term? Yes! Paid trial classes are offered before you commit to the whole term. These can be booked via their website www.bexdcreate.com
My child loves to sing or act at home but is very shy in front of others. What can I do to help them? Reach out, ask questions and give it a go. BEXD Create have trial classes for this purpose. It’s normal to feel nervous when we express ourselves in front of others and try new things. Encouragement and validation goes a long way. Often having a place outside the immediate comfort zone (at home/with family) where your child can play with being creative and sharing that creativity in a safe environment is the best thing to help them come out of their shell. It can be uncomfortable to start with and that’s okay. It may not be the right class or the right time for your child and that’s okay too, but BEXD Create encourages everyone to give it a go.
My child has special needs, are these classes suitable? Neurodiverse children are very welcome in these classes. BEXD Create have assistant teachers to offer extra support to any children who need it. These classes are suitable for most physical disabilities, just send an email to double check at admin@bexdcreate.com
Do I stay with my child during class? Nope! You just drop them off and the teachers take it from there. If you wish to stay with your child, the BeXD Create instructors are likely to ask you to participate, as they have found it lead to a much more positive experience for the students and if parents are sitting and watching it can be distracting or scary.
