Term Time Art Classes
Join the team at My Art Space Studio as they create a range of exciting artworks each Term. Courses run for 9 weeks and coincide with the Queensland school calendar.
The art lesson structure is set out in three-week blocks. During this time, an art-piece is gradually built upon and techniques are learnt over that period.
Each three-week block also concentrates on a different art form such as painting, drawing, mixed media and clay.
Each term revolves around a new theme, such as Under The Sea, It’s a Jungle Out There, or Deep Space! These courses are great for returning students as the art courses and art pieces produced are always new and engaging.
The primary-aged courses are priced at less than $28 a week ($245 total) and include all consumables plus several fantastic art pieces to share with you at home.
Birthday Art Workshops
A paint party at My Art Space Studio is a must if you’re searching for something unique, interesting and a lot of fun for your child’s next birthday party!
Many of the artworks provide children the freedom to change the colours and add new features. Depending on the complexity of the artwork, the canvas can also be pre-drawn for the children. The qualified teacher will guide and support each guest every step of the way.
Paint parties run for 2.5 hours and include breaks throughout the painting to enjoy food, open presents and have fun!
These paint party activities are appropriate for children aged 6 to 14 years. Bring your own birthday snacks and drinks, as well as a birthday cake/cupcakes and decorations (optional).

Testimonials
‘My daughter loves art and absolutely love this studio. She can’t wait to go each week and just beams with happiness after each class. Emma is amazing and is so lovely with the children. There are so many different themes and types of art the children can be involved in. I can not recommend My Art Space Studio more highly.‘
‘Great place, Emma is friendly and welcoming. My nearly 8 year- old absolutely loves her weekly art class there. The classes offer a great variety of different techniques and skills.’
‘My 10 year old son is very interested in art but was reluctant to go to classes where he didn’t know anyone. After just one class he barely waits for the car to stop before sprinting up the stairs to see Emma and what they will create that day. They learn a variety of styles and use different mediums to create their masterpieces. My son now has real pieces of artwork to display that he created and he is so proud of his work. I can see a little more confidence in him each week. Highly recommend.‘
