Kick Dance and Arts provides a wholistic programme where students of all ages can choose from individual classes in RAD Ballet, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Acrobatics, Contemporary, Tap and Irish or train in all of them.
From providing a fun and enjoyable class environment, to mentoring their students wishing to excel in exams, eisteddfods, musicals and concert performances, Kick Dance and Arts teaches all ages and abilities from toddler to adult.

Twinkle Stars
Twinkle Stars is Kick’s ‘Mummy/Daddy and Me’ class, which develops in children from a very young age, a sense of musicality, body awareness, vocal development, interaction with peers and a sense of focus and following directions.
Creative Movement
Creative Movement is an introduction to all types of dance. Starting at three years, students experience the basics of ballet and other techniques in a fun and imaginative environment.
Ballet
Kick Dance are proud providers of the world-renowned and internationally-recognised syllabus of the Royal Academy of Dance Ballet, offering all grades from pre-primary to vocational level.
Jazz
Kick Dance and Arts offers an extensive range of Jazz ballet classes, which are up tempo movements to popular music. Jazz is a fun, expressive form of dance and introduces hip hop and other styles in an enjoyable and social class. Classes cater to toddlers up to adults who want to keep fit and have fun.
Tap
Children love the Kick style of tap and develop into competent tappers while having so much fun and developing impressive skills. Past students have tapped around the world, including with Mickey Mouse in Paris.
Hip Hop
Hip Hop is a very popular dance style that appeals to many students, especially boys, who can learn to break dance and pop and perform great party tricks to contemporary music.
Contemporary and Lyrical
Contemporary and Lyrical dance are expressive and dynamic dance styles that draw upon strong Ballet and jazz technique. Classes are offered for all ages.
Acro
Combining gymnastic and aerobic skills and combine them into dance routines that highlight the talent and hard work that entertains.
Musical Theatre
Kick Dance and Arts’ students have been part of professional productions such as Matilda, Shrek, School of Rock, The Wizard of Oz, The King and I, The Lion King and Wiggles tours.
Irish Dancing
Irish Dancing is available from the age of 4. Kick are registered with An Coimisiun – the international governing body of Irish Dancing (AIDA).
Kick Dance and Arts is very proud of their students’ numerous state and national titles in Irish Dance and many Eisteddfod titles, including Classical Ballet, Jazz and Tap Championships and aggregates.
Kick Dance and Arts offers a wide selection of class days and times to suit all families, with lessons ranging from 30, 45 and 60 minute classes.

Kick Dance and Arts prides itself on growing confidence in their younger students through carefully balancing a combination of discipline and structure with fun to ignite that passion for movement in dance.
In Creative Movement and Twinkle Star classes, young children learn to work as a team, take turns, move independently, all whilst leaning the foundations of Ballet and Jazz techniques.

Past Kick Dance and Arts’ students have successfully gained places across the globe to Disneyland and Universal Studios in Tokyo, Paris, Hong Kong and Shanghai, Moulin Rouge and Nouvelle Eve in Paris, Contemporary companies and the Palazzo in Germany, Movie World, Queensland Ballet Company, the Australian Ballet School’s Training Program and Ballet Theatre of Queensland, Queensland Youth Ballet, Queensland School of Excellence, Ed5 and the Edge, and many more entertainment events.
Their students have also been featured in Wiggles tours and videos, State of Origin football openings, Bullets and Broncos cheer squads, International Cruise Liner shows, and professional productions such as Matilda, Shrek, School of Rock, The Wizard of OZ, The King and I, The Lion King, and Les Miserable. Former students have choreographed for the Commonwealth Games mascot and founded and produced the fabulous Ballet International Gala.
