Learn to dance in a professional & friendly dance school
Conroy Dance Centre understands that a child’s first dance class should be an unforgettable and magical experience. Their qualified and welcoming teachers make learning to dance the highlight of your child’s week as they guide tiny dancers through their own exclusive age-specific programs.
Classes include jazz, ballet, tap and even singing on the microphone! Teachers in Conroy’s junior school help young dancers start out on the right foot, developing the beginnings of technique with the same high standards for which their dance centre is renowned. Their programs give every tiny dancer the chance to twirl, leap, jump and giggle, all the while developing confidence, fitness and musicality.

Studios and facilities
Conroy Dance Centre’s gorgeous purpose-built studios are maintained to the highest of standards. Their dance-safe sprung flooring with professional tarkett and their large, well-ventilated studios with temperature control make for the perfect dance learning environment.
With professional acrobatic equipment (tumbling mats, springboards and crash mats) and well-maintained first aid and emergency facilities, the studios are a fun and safe place to learn. Conroy’s dedicated staff, along with their age-specific student waiting rooms means everyone has a comfortable and safe place to relax between or before classes.
Musical Theatre
If you have seen a professional musical theatre show in Australia, it is most likely you have enjoyed performances by both current Conroy Dance Centre Students and alumni. Their young students have successfully been cast in many professional productions such as ‘Billy Elliott the Musical’, ‘Matilda’, ’The Sound of Music’, ‘Les Miserables’, ‘Annie’, ’The Wizard of Oz’ and many more right here at QPAC and in many more productions all around the world.
Conroy Dance Centre understands the importance of Kids Musical Theatre classes, with performers needing to be strong in dance, singing and acting – a ’triple-threat’. Musical Theatre teaches students to perform truthfully by developing their imagination, concentration and observation skills. Their Kids Musical Theatre classes are loads of fun and teaches the skills needed for musical theatre performances.
