Another tour of Brisbane that is best to do sans kids is the Dark Stories True Crime Tour of Brisbane. For those intrigued by the crimes of the past, you can take a walk on the dark side and revisit the scenes of some of the city’s true crimes.
Tours are for small groups of up to 8 people, allowing a more personal experience and make the most of the time available. There are four tours to choose between and also the option to create a more personalised experience if you are looking to discover a particular area of interest.
Trixity Brisbane
Trixity is a ‘tour’ with a difference. One that involves no guide and, instead, has visitors solving different clues around a city and in the process discovering not only more about it but also visiting the famous landmarks on the way. Things to know: each trail lasts approximately 2-4 hrs and involves solving 15+ clues. The trails are all walkable distances and are not physically challenging. When you are ready to complete your trail, go to the start point sent to you in the email you receive upon ordering. Log into the website with your smartphone/device and select ‘GET STARTED’. Once you have solved the first clue, type your answer in the field provided and select ‘SUBMIT ANSWER’. If correct, you will be sent the next clue.
