Encircle, a community-owned and operated organisation, has been servicing families in the Greater North Brisbane area since 1987. With the motto – Connect, Transform, Enrich, Encircle provides a variety of services, across its multiple north Brisbane sites, with the aim of supporting the wellbeing of local community members.
Through several neighbourhood centres, Encircle run a variety of programs and services including The Young Parents Program, a Community Legal Service and Circle of Security, as well as offering a diverse range of assistance and support for families and community members in need.
Pine Rivers Neighbourhood Centre
Located in Lawnton, The Pine Rivers Neighbourhood Centre offers a multitude of services for local families. The Centre also hosts after-school activities, school holidays events, community BBQ’s and regular health and wellbeing events. Events and workshops are usually low cost or free, making them accessible for most families.
Services Offered: Family support, Counselling, Community Information and Referral, Community Development, Multicultural Ladies’ Group, Conversational English Group, Adult Literacy, Mosaics Group, Create Caring Community and Homestay.

Encircle Redcliffe Neighbourhood Centre
Encircle Redcliffe, offers a variety of workshops for community members, including topic such as mindfulness and the popular cooking workshops. Of course, there are also more formal services on offer, as listed below.
Services Offered: Family Support, Family Therapy, Intake and Response, Community Development, Family & Relationship Counselling, Specialised Family Violence Counselling, Older Persons Action Program, Seniors Client Support, Homestay, Crafty Chicks and Ramekins.

Encircle Kallangur Neighbourhood Centre
Providing a range of services, workshops and activities, Encircle Kallangur Neighbourhood Centre, prides itself on supporting its surrounding community. On offer are Social Groups, Laughter Yoga, Cooking workshops and markets.

The Young Parents Program (YPP)
The Young Parents Program is a free service for those up to the age of 23, who were 19 years or younger when they were first pregnant. Those meeting these criteria, and living in the Greater North Brisbane region, may be able to utilise this service, which provides antenatal education, peer support, child development education and general parenting skills.
Pine Rivers Community Legal Service (PRCLS)
The Pine Rivers Community Legal Service provides free legal advice to community members in need, with the option of face-to-face or over the phone sessions. The service operates Monday to Friday, across several locations in north Brisbane and is made possible by volunteers, including solicitors who volunteer their time. PRCLS also provides Community Family Mediation Services, Document Drafting and Community Legal Education. For further details and eligibility criteria please contact PRCLS.
