Free Barbie party invitations

Colour scheme
For a beautiful Barbie colour scheme, think pink for young kids (see that’s my letter), and pink, black and white for a more sophisticated, Paris-style theme for older kids (see Bird’s Party Blog).

Dressing up
Little Barbie fans love dressing up! For Barbie party dress-up ideas, visit Party City, or just gather jewellery, tiaras and anything pink and frilly to set up a Barbie dress-up station at your party.
Photo booth
Oh wow! And with the party guests all dressed up, what better way to get some happy snaps of them than with this Barbie box party photo booth?!! There are full instructions on how to make it on Smarty Pants Mama.
Barbie party refreshments
Pink lemonade is a must for any Barbie party! We love this presentation from The Tomkat Studio.
We also love The Tomkat Studio’s beautiful yet simple ideas for decorated cookies, such as dresses and bows to tie in with the Barbie fashion theme.
This is a great way to present some tasty popcorn, as seen on Make it Cozee. We’ve even pinned a great recipe for pink popcorn on our Barbie Party Pinterest board!
And see Make it Cozee for some other great Barbie party food ideas. The heart-shaped sandwiches are super cute and easy to make!
The birthday cake
Making an awesome Barbie birthday cake is easier than you’d think with this great tutorial from Corner House. (No, this isn’t the ‘nailed it’ version! It’s just one of the steps to making an amazing birthday cake!)
Barbie party games
It would be really easy and fun to set up a game of Pin the Bow on Barbie as seen on Etsy!
If you have a Barbie fan, you’re bound to have plenty of Barbie shoes! So how about a game of guess how many Barbie shoes are in the jar, like this one found on Pinterest?!
And if you have a few Barbies with different outfits and accessories (like these found here), why not set up a Barbie scavenger hunt? You could give each child an undressed Barbie or Ken doll and photo of what they should look like fully dressed and accessorised, then send them on a fun hunt to find all the items they need!
Party craft or favours
These cute bracelets seen here would be great to make as party favours, or how about setting up a craft station for guests to make their own as a fun party activity?!
And these party favour bags found on Catch My Party would be really easy to recreate.
